THE GREAT TURNING

01/12/25

There is a great turning on the horizon. There is a turning of hearts back to the Lord. There is a turning of fathers and mothers back to their children. There is the turning of the hearts of children back to their fathers and mothers. Malachi 4:6: "And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.” Luke 1:17: "And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous--to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

There is a turning of husbands and wives who abandoned their marriages back to their spouses. I meant what I said when I said, “Let no one separate who I joined together.” Mark 10:9

There is a turning of prodigals who was running in the wrong direction but will now run in the right direction. Just as the prodigal son left, he also returned, and I will do it again for you. Luke 15:13, 20

There is the turning of tables in which vindication, recompense, and redemption will be seen. There is the turning of a page that leads into a new chapter in life in which I will do a new thing. “Behold, I am going to do something new, now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19

There is the turning of that which the enemy meant for harm turned to the saving of thousands of lives. Genesis 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

There is the turning of that which was bad to something good. Romans 8:28 “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

There is the turning of sorrow to joy. Jeremiah 31:13: "I will turn their mourning into joy." John 16:20: "You will weep and lament, but your sorrow will turn into joy."

Many have been in a long season of travelling over long-awaited promises and now is the time in which I will turn the wait into fulfillment. Though it tarried, My people waited and now they shall see their promises as they come to pass. The time has now come for there to be tangible evidence that I keep My promises, Habakkuk 2:3.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” and Joshua 21:45 “Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; everything came to pass.”
